Debbie Robbins is the creator of Air Control Pilates®. She is based in Scotland and has practised as an aerialist for 15 years and a Pilates teacher for over 20 years. She has taught Aerial Pilates for 10 years and is proud to offer this now online platform.

Hi there! I'm Debbie, the Founder and Artistic Director of Air Control Pilates. ® Let me take you on a personal journey through my world of Pilates and aerial arts.
Ever since 2003, I've been dedicated to teaching Pilates. Helping people discover the incredible benefits it offers. My passions for movement and expression continue to flow. In 2008, I began a new adventure as a professional aerial artist. The exhilaration and freedom I experienced while soaring through the air. It ignites a joy and passion within.
As artistic Director of A Blank Canvas, I had the incredible opportunity to tour my own personal show. Called ‘In Her Shadows’. This mesmerizing aerial dance show was accompanied by stunning projections. It captivated audiences across Scotland as part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival. It was a truly transformative experience.
Combining my love for aerial arts with the principles of Pilates. I naturally started creating a unique syllabus that blends the two disciplines. It's my utmost joy to share this fusion of aerial arts and Pilates with you.
I’m proud to say that I now run education and classes for movement lovers and teachers all over the world. Spreading the magic of Air Control Pilates!

Performance
In Her Shadows
In Her Shadows was a dance-mindscape piece, featuring aerial and physical theatre and supported by stunning visual projections and haunting music. Toured across Scotland as part of the ‘Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival’ & DanceLive in October 2015.
